Oh My God

This is apparently what they say when they think we can't hear them. Sally Kern, an Oklahoma State Representative.

Zeitgeist

This is a full two hour movie. It's a documentary dealing with politics, religion, terrorism, and the bleak future we have been traveling toward for the past 100 years, now.

I highly recommend this.

Klingons in the White House

Did you know that there are Klingons in the White House? This senator does. Sometimes, watching C-Span can pay off!

Schooled!

It must be embaressing to be a major news reporter, interviewing a famous stoner, and getting completely schooled by him. Rock.

I won't post a description for this one. Just watch it.

Dennis Kucinich

I really wish this guy had a chance of winning the election. I really like him. I also like how his wife handled the moronic questions about her tongue piercing.

Speeding ticket taser

I'm outraged.

A Utah Highway Patrolman tasers man in front of his pregnant wife and baby over an alleged speeding ticket. Outraged? Call the Vernal, Utah UHP Office and let them know!

I normally don't agree with this guy, but he's got some good points here.

Colbert/Stewart '08

These are the funniest and smartest Americans that would ever run for presidency. I'd vote for them in an instant.

AT&T Sucks!

Proof of how evil a company AT&T is. Get ready to deal with them, though. They're almost a monopoly again, in some parts of the country.

Health Inspector

Last post for today, since it's my birthday* and I want to get on with other things.

This is a political post. It may only be interesting to me, but I want to share it.

A man was doing work on his house and property. It was all being done in his back yard, which is not visible from the street. A health inspector received an anonymous complaint, an came to check it out. They insisted to be let into the back yard to inspect and photograph it. The homeowner (who is video taping this) would not consent and asked her to leave. She called police to escort her back. The officer, without a warrant, and knowing the homeowner does not want them on his property, told her to go anyway, and trespass. The police officer actually encouraged for the health inspector to break the law and told the homeowner he was in the wrong.

This is a shameful abuse of power, and really disgusting to see. I really wish I knew the outcome of this guy's lawsuit, but at least I could see this video.

Nancy Grace gets hers.

Nancy Grace is a horrible "news" person. She slants really far to one side of politics, and won't let people discuss their point. She's also, usually, very poorly informed. Think dumbed-down-Anne-Coulter.

As an example, she was the main person that hyped up the Duke Rape Case, and kept insisting the boys were guilty as hell and that we didn't need DNA evidence. Then they were found innocent and she insisted on checking the DNA. STUPID SLANTED BITCH! :)

Anyway, that's why this video makes me laugh so much. It's nice to see her get hers.

Mike Daisey protest

Mike Daisey is a pretty entertaining social commentator. He was doing a performance about a year back and some religious group planned a walk out protest. Unfortunately, one of them took it too far and poured water all over Daisey's hand written notes for the performance, ruining them. You can see how stunned he was.

This is really amazing to see. I should probably add that I do not condone the protester with the water, or agree with it in general.

Wal-Mart sucks

This is really sad. This is from a local new channel.

Wal-Mart is building a super center right next to this guy's house. In the process, they're using dynamite to break up the land to build on. The first blast cracked his foundation. Now the second blast they're planning is feet from his property line. The only way he's stopping them is by sitting in a lawn chair on the edge of his property 24-7.

How is what they're doing even legal? Seriously.
