Sound Quality

Ever wonder why the sound quality of professionally recorded music has gotten worse and worse over the years? This is a very good explanation of why, and it's absolutely correct.

The worst case of this that I've heard, so far, is the Nine Inch Nails live CD called And All That Could Have Been. Several of the peaks were severely distorted. I knew from hearing it that this was the reason, but I didn't find this video for another couple of years. It explains the issue way better than I can.

Tenori-On

Is it still Saturday? Yeah. More music goodness.

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. If anyone buys it for me, I'll do whatever you want in return. OH MY GOD!

It's called the Tenori-On and is from Japan. That's all I know, other than what you can see in the video. It seems to be a VERY interactive sampler. I'm really impressed by how functional it seems to be.
